A well-known technical expert of denim industry with a long and rich experience of 25+ yrs of working in different major denim industries of India, Belgium and Romania with high knowledge of Textile Chemistry and experience in Indigo and color denim dyeing, sizing, overdyeing, coating, printing , preparatory and bleaching etc. With excellent communication skill, man management, autonomous maintenance ( preventive and predictive), problem solving, innovative ideas, business development, working with cross functional teams….Jayanta became a successful professional after starting a career in 1996 as a shift engineer and raised upto a level of General Director of a denim manufacturing company in a foreign land. While continuing his journey in the field of innovation and application with a commitment towards a sustainable future of textile industries, Jayanta switched his career domain and joined as Head of Technical Sales and Processes (Textile Industry) of WEKO Germany in 2020 and taking a lead role of process optimisation with minimal application in dyeing, finishing and coating with the machinery and equipments of WEKO and RotaSpray and working in collaboration with industries and academic institutions together towards a more sustainable textile industry.

Manuj Kanchan

Manuj Kanchan is working with Jeanologia as Division Director for Central Asia region and is having 24 years of very valuable experience in apparel industry.The exposure of working in different countries as well as in different facet of industry like chemicals , laundry , buying office and in technology and sustainability areas make him one of the very select professional in our industry. Italian born american denim fanatic, stefano started his adventure in the blue world back in europe; one of the best italian denim mills was the first introduction to denim. After that, a few years in the UK,, Canada, and finally california where he is still based today.Worked as design director at levi strauss & co. in san francisco, creative director at 7 for all mankind, c.e.o. and co-founder of tuff gong clothing, creative director at hudson jeans and finally founder of another design studio, working with several textile, apparel, retail operations and brands on a global basis.Actively involved in “sustainability” causes, Stefano also gives talks to audiences worldwide on topics that vary from responsible and ethical initiatives, history of denim, branding, marketing.

Dr. Naresh Tyagi

Dr. Tyagi a seasoned and dynamic leader with rich experience ranging from Apparel, Textile and Retail Industries. His expertise in heading Business Units has boosted teams to develop Innovative and Strategic Initiatives across functions. Through his deep interest in promoting environmental and social causes, he has carved a niche in diverse fields such as Sustainability, Safety and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). He has been instrumental in making innovation and sustainability an integral part of business operations and paving the way to take ABFRL to greater heights.
Dr Tyagi is an active member on prominent global and national industry platforms, including the Cotton 2040, the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, Consortium of Green fashion, Indian Retail Forum, Textile Association, and Circular Apparel Innovation Factory (CAIF). He is part of the ‘working group’ at SAC, Cotton 2040  & Science Base Target initiative (SBTi), also part of the steering committee at GIZ, a German Government agency for a ‘private-public development partnership project’ to build a circular ecosystem for the textile and apparel industry in India.
